What if you aren’t lazy?
What if you aren’t failing?
What if your nervous system has simply been surviving for so long that it doesn’t remember what feeling safe is anymore?
Welcome In
You don’t have to carry this alone.
The Burnout Bar is a place for women who are tired of surviving and ready to understand themselves with compassion instead of criticism.
And no, we don’t serve alcohol BUT, we do serve something many women have been running on empty without for far too long: permission.
Permission to slow down.
Permission to need support.
Permission to set something down.
Permission to stop holding yourself to impossible standards.
Permission to take up space in your own life again.
The Burnout Bar was created for women who have spent so much time pouring into everyone else that they’ve forgotten what it feels like to pour into themselves. That's why you'll notice a little bar-inspired language around here.
So, before you pull up a chair, let us show you the menu.

Something to take with you.
Our final thought, reflection or reminder before you head back into your day.
Nothing else to complete.
Nothing to check off.
Just something worth carrying with you.
You might be one of our regulars if…
You wake up exhausted, even after a full night's sleep.
Your brain never seems to switch off.
You lose patience with the people you love... and feel guilty immediately after.
You're carrying everyone else's needs while quietly putting your own at the bottom of the list.
Rest doesn't actually feel restful anymore.
You miss the version of yourself who laughed more, worried less, and felt lighter.
You keep wondering... What has happened to me?
Meet
Hi, I'm Jenna.
Before I was a psychotherapist, I was the person who thought I just needed to try harder.
To be more organized.
More patient. More productive. More grateful.
Surely if I could just get my life together... I'd stop feeling so overwhelmed.
Right? …
I blamed myself for years. Until I learned something that completely changed how I understood myself.
My nervous system had been living in survival mode.
That realization didn't magically make life easier.
But it helped me stop believing I was the problem.
That's why I created The Burnout Bar.
Not to tell women to meditate more.
Or wake up at 5 a.m.
Or "manage stress better."
But to finally understand what's happening inside their minds and bodies with compassion instead of criticism.
From Women Who've Been There
The greatest privilege of my work is walking alongside women as they reconnect with themselves. These are a few words shared by women who've sat in this seat before you.
"I Finally Understood What Was Happening."
"For years, I thought something was wrong with me. Jenna helped me understand that I wasn't broken, my nervous system had simply been carrying more than it could hold. That shift alone changed how I see myself."
"I Felt Seen Instead of Judged."
"I never felt like I had to have the right words or hold everything together. I felt understood from the very first conversation, and for the first time in a long time, I didn't feel alone."
"I Left Every Session Feeling Lighter."
"Jenna has a way of explaining things that finally make sense. Every session left me feeling lighter, more hopeful, and with practical tools I could actually use in everyday life."
Start with a House Pour🏠
